SÍM residency program
The SÍM Residency is an international residency with two locations in Iceland and one in Berlin.
The main objective of the SIM Residency is to function as a direct link between visual artists, both nationally and internationally by bringing them together from different parts of the world to work in close company with each other. The SIM Residency seeks to promote an environment of reflection, study and play by providing artists with a working environment that supports the artistic process.
Situated only 10 minutes walk from the city centre with a great ocean view, SÍM hosts 9 residencies in one of SÍMs most popular studio buildings
In this historic building SÍM hosts three residencies on the outskirts of Reykjavik with great views of mount Esja. Korpúlfsstaðir also hosts studios for 40 SÍM members
