Intensive Course in Art and Coaching in Berlin.
The course is for artists and art students who want new inspiration.
How do we – with art as a starting point – broaden the knowledge and get better grip on our own lives.
Making pictures is an internal and external working process in which we try to get the two sides to communicate.
The course will consist of equal parts of group and individual lessons.
All participants receive individual analysis of existing works and a personal dialogue around how to develop your artistic practice.
We will go motive hunting with sketchbook and camera on some of the not so known areas here in Berlin.
With photo and sketches as a starting point, we will discuss composition – image building – materials in future work. We will also talk about composing an exhibition.
Of course there will be time to make sketches of the more well-known places if needed.
We will visit different studios here in Berlin to get an insight into the Berlin art scene, and establish contacts.
We will – based on the works produced, build an exhibition together, and invite Berliners to the opening.
We will be visiting selected galleries in Berlin, and maybe we are invited to an opening.

My name is Poul R. Weile and I graduated from Funen Art Academy as a sculptor from 1979 – 1984, and has since worked and lived as an artist.
I started and headed a three- year art education under the Free Art School in Odense that functioned from 1985 – 1993, since then I’ve been self-employed artist.
I have numerous large public artworks behind me, and I am represented at several museums in Denmark and abroad.
If you are interested to see more of my work has Funen Art Museum just published a book: ART – Poul R. Weile.
It is also possible to visit my website: www.prweile.dk
I have – since my early youth – studied self-development and Tao. I believe that art is a dialogue between the artist – work – receiver, in order to gain a deeper understanding of ourselves as individuals and as a society.
I have lived and worked in Berlin since 2008 and is part of both the German and the international art scene in the city.
