Image transfer is an interesting technique that can easily enrich any project. By using oil based ink, we will transfer printed out images and use them as a matrix that can be printed on paper. Image transfer can be combined with other types of printmaking techniques.
Anna Pawłowska (b.1989) studied Graphic Arts at Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (MFA) and later Digital Design at Pedagogical University of Kraków, working mainly in printmaking, specifically intaglio printmaking.
Anna has participated in numerous exhibitions in Poland and abroad. She was taking part in an artistic residency at SIM in Reykjavik in October and November. After this experience, she decided to go back and spend little more time in Iceland.
