Surroundings/ENVIRONMENT: Iceland based artists in Tuscany
Five artists of different nationalities based in Iceland explore their unique points of view in this group exhibition opening on Saturday 11th of November in San Miniato (Pisa).
The exhibition reflects on the relationship between the cultural background of the artist and their everyday surroundings, a task even more challenging if the artist has residence in a different country than their own.
How much of the heritage is retained in the artistic practice? Is there a loss of it after many years of living abroad?
