AIR Taipei provides residency programs for contemporary artists and cultural practitioners to stay in Taipei or participate in international artist residencies. Through cross-cultural and interdisciplinary artistic exchange, the program fosters experimentation, innovation, and deeper cultural connections between Taipei and cities worldwide.

This Open Call includes three categories: International Residency, Domestic Residency, and Overseas Residency Visit. The application period runs from March to June 30, 2025. Artists from Taiwan and abroad are encouraged to apply and explore new creative possibilities.

The International Residency is open to international artists, while the Domestic Residency is available for Taiwanese artists. Both programs are based at Treasure Hill Artist Village in Taipei. AIR Taipei will also facilitate collaborations with cultural institutions and professionals across Taipei to support artists' professional growth and promote cultural exchange.

The Overseas Residency is a collaborative program between AIR Taipei and international cultural organizations. Each year, selected Taiwanese artists are sent to partner institutions abroad for artist residencies. This year’s participating countries include Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, and Canada.
