HVERFISGALLERÍ, BERG Contemporary and i8 Gallery invite you to CHART De-centered Reykjavík

Due to the Covid19 pandemic the 2020 edition of CHART Art Fair, which traditionally takes place in Charlottenborg Copenhagen, is now organised in a significantly altered format with all 28 leading Nordic galleries exhibiting works by women artists across the five Nordic capitals, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Oslo, Reykjavík and Stockholm.

For CHART 2020 Reykjavík the three Icelandic galleries join forces in a collaborative format and organise their exhibitions at the premises of BERG Contemporary at Klapparstígur 16.

Hverfisgallerí, BERG Contemporary and i8 Gallery are proud to be part of this year’s unique and dynamic edition of CHART Art Fair which focuses solely on women artists in order to bring full attention to a group of artists who have historically been underrepresented and thereby raising awareness of issues such as gender imbalance and diversity in contemporary art.

Hverfisgalleri’s artists for Chart De-centered are GUÐNÝ RÓSA INGIMARSDÓTTIR, HARPA ÁRNADÓTTIR and HILDUR BJARNADÓTTIR.

CHART celebrates artistic practices in the Nordic region presenting leading contemporary art galleries in the Nordic countries.

The art fair is open to the general public 29-30 August 12.00-19.00. Free admission.
