Residency fees in the year 2011

Seljavegur (fees per month):
1 x 6 m² room and 6 m² private studio : 300 EUR
3 x 10 m² room with a 30 m² shared studio: 350 EUR
2 x 9 m² room with a 31 m² studio shared by one other artist: 400 EUR
1 x 7,5m² room with a 13 m² private studio: 400 EUR
1 x 13 m² room with a 11m² private studio: 400 EUR
1 x 19 m² room with a 20m² private studio: 450 EUR

Korpulfsstadir (fees per month):
3 x 12 m2 bedroom with access to a studio shared by 1-2 other artists: 350 EUR

The residency fee must be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. For residencies lasting longer than one month, the fee for the first month is to be paid 8 weeks in advance, the fee for the second and third month can be paid on arrival.

Included in the residency fee are sheets, towels, water, electricity, heating and internet access for lap tops.

The residency fee is intended to cover the general cost of running the program.  It does not constitute rent and the artist therefore does not obtain the legal status of tenant.

If two artists share a room and studio 50% is added to the residency fee.

Cancellation policy
If cancelled 8-4 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date 50% of the residency fee is refunded
If cancelled 4-0 weeks prior to the scheduled arrival date none of the residency fee is refunded

Guest fee

Artists in residence are allowed to have one visitor staying with them. Children under 14 years cannot be brought to stay in the residency.

The guest fee depends on the length of stay:
-For guests staying 1-6 days a fee of 5.000 ISK or 30 EUR per person is required.
-For guests staying 7-14 days 25% is added to the artist´s residency fee
-For guests staying more than 14 days 50% is added to the artist´s residency fee

The guest fee can be paid on arrival.
All guests are provided with bedding and towel.
