Zing Zam Blunder lýkur um helgina í Harbinger

Sýningunni Zing Zam Blunder lýkur nú um helgina og af því tilefni höfum við gefið út kataloginn/listamannabókina Zing Zang Blunder. Við fögnum útgáfu hennar í Harbinger / Bókum á bakvið laugardaginn 22.7. sem er jafnframt lokadagur sýningarinnar.
Opið er í dag, föstudag, og á morgun, laugardag, frá 14-17.

Á sýningunni, sem er skipulögð og sýningarstýrt af listamanninum Brian Scott Campbell, má sjá verk eftir bandaríska og íslenska listamenn, sem vinna helst með teikningu og á pappír.

Sýningin stendur til 22. júlí og er opin fimmtudaga til laugardaga og eftir samkomulagi.

 
Brian Scott Campbell (1983, Columbus, OH) er listamaður og sýningarstjóri sem býr og starfar í Joshua Tree, Kaliforníu. Hann lauk BFA gráðu við Colombus College of Art and Design og MFA gráðu frá Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, NJ. 
Nýlegar einkasýningar Brians hafa verið hjá Dutton Gallery í New York árin 2017 og 2016. Hann hefur tekið þátt í samsýningum hjá Fredericks & Freiser, NY, Asya Geisberg Gallery, NY, Jeff Bailey Gallery, NY, Metropolitan Art Society, Beirut, (Sýningarstýrt af Suzanne Geiss Co. NY), Zevitas Marcus, Los Angeles, David Shelton Gallery, TX, David Risley Gallery, Kaupmannahöfn, NADA and Untitled, Miami Beach art fairs, á meðal annarra.
Á meðal verðlauna og listamannadvala eru Atlantic Center for the Arts Residency með listamanninum Dana Schutz,  McColl Center for Visual Art Full Fellowship, og the Artist in the Marketplace Program, Bronx Museum, NY. Fjallað hefur verið um verk hans í Modern Painters, Blouin ArtInfo, Whitehot Magazine, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, Hyperallergic, LVL3, It’s Nice That (London) and i-D Magazine / Vice.  

As the exhibition Zing Zam Blunder draws to a close we welcome you to the launch of the catalogue/artist book Zing Zang Blunder, this Saturday 22nd of July, which is also the final day of show.
We are open today, Friday, and tomorrow, Saturday, from 2-5pm. 
 

Zing Zam Blunder is an exhibition curated by US artist Brian Scott Campbell, and features diverse drawings and works on paper from over twenty five artists from the USA and Iceland.

Brian Scott Campbell (born 1983, Columbus, OH) is an artist and curator currently living and working in Joshua Tree, California. He received a BFA from Columbus College of Art and Design and an MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers University, NJ. Campbell has had recent solo exhibitions presented by Dutton Gallery in New York in 2017 and 2016. He has been included in exhibitions at Fredericks & Freiser, NY, Asya Geisberg Gallery, NY, Jeff Bailey Gallery, NY, Metropolitan Art Society, Beirut, (Curated by Suzanne Geiss Co. NY), Zevitas Marcus, Los Angeles, David Shelton Gallery, TX, David Risley Gallery, Copenhagen, NADA and Untitled, Miami Beach art fairs, among others. Awards and residencies include Atlantic Center for the Arts Residency with artist Dana Schutz, a McColl Center for Visual Art Full Fellowship, and the Artist in the Marketplace Program, Bronx Museum, NY. His work has been reviewed in Modern Painters, Blouin ArtInfo, Whitehot Magazine, Los Angeles Times, The Huffington Post, Hyperallergic, LVL3, It’s Nice That (London) and i-D Magazine / Vice.
